Yeah, okay, that's me. But it also goes beyond that. Being a Tomboy influences fashion and style. I've always preferred jeans over dresses and playing in the mud over tea parties with dolls. Don't get me wrong, I did like and have dolls. Wasn't into Barbie, but my favorite was her sidekick Skipper! She was built differently, not so dainty and dressed ready for a hard days play in the sand and dirt. ...yeah, I haven't changed much! .
As for style, I'm still in jeans and a baseball cap and totally into sports (this is my 5th year doing triathlons). Everyone once in a while I do enjoy dressing up. On the fashion side, I design and create jewelry line to accommodate both styles -Tomboy, outwardly earthy; inwardly elegant. Being a Libra, I just gotta have that balance!
Tomboy Jewelry on the earthy side is made with semi-precious gemstones, hemp, waxed cotton, leather and suede. The elegant side is made with Swarovski Crystsals, fresh water pearls and glass beads. Sterling Silver is my absolute favorite precious metal, but I also use rhodium, base metal and occassionally gold plated.
